With some help from friends at Kraft Foods I was able to get the broom corn harvested. Friends of Wagner Farm board member, Peter Brown who works at Kraft was able to get some volunteer help from co-workers Nate, Peggy and YiFang. Our crew was stalwart and steady on the task despite the drenching rain. Next step, drying the tops so that we can move on to the threshing stage.
