7th grade visits the farm

Last year Todd and I had the opportunity to sit down with the 7th grade teachers from Springman and Attea schools to discuss programming ideas. What came out of that meeting was an all-day, immersion program. The kids have been spending their days doing chores, cooking over a wood burning stove, milking cows, and learning about the many transitions taking place during the 1920's. We have had about 250 kids from Attea visiting us this week and our staff has been having a blast-and by the looks of these photos, so are the kids! These first round of photos are the kids from Attea-look for the kids from Springman next week.
