The community garden is almost ready for planting! Today, Jeff and Andres hooked up the manure spreader to the John Deere A and put manure down on the garden beds. Jeff tilled it under this afternoon with the Bobcat so now all that's left to do is install the irrigation system and fencing next week and till the garden beds one more time! If you're handy with a tape measure and hammer and would like to help measure and stake out the plots next week, give me a call at the farm for all the details about when and where. We need lots of hands since there are 99 plots to measure and stake!
