The Heritage Center was filled to the brim last night! Community gardeners gathered to learn about their garden plots and plans for the growing season, which include installation of an irrigation system throughout the garden, garden-related classes (open to the public), a Community Garden kickoff event, and Chicago Botanic Garden Master Gardeners available for questions on various weekends. It was great to meet so many people excited about growing vegetables, fruit, and flowers in a group setting!
